ABOUT US We married each other knowing the love and friendship we have for each other. We are truly best friends. We have always had a desire and love for children, and for raising them. It has always been a dream of ours to become parents. Our prayers were answered with that very special “phone call of our lives” when our Birthmother called us to tell us “our daughter” had been born! That was Valentine’s weekend of 2004! MONICA I am now a “Retired Registered Nurse” and a full-time “stay-at-home” Mother for our daughter, Brooke. I have worked in the Newborn Nursery, Neonatal I.C.U. with premature infants and also in the Pediatric Units my entire Nursing career. My love for babies and children has always been my reason for becoming a Nurse. Working with infants, children, and new mothers has been very rewarding for me, but the greatest joy in my life is being a full-time stay-at-home Mother! It is the best and most important job in the world! Holding and caring for our child when they are sick or teething in the middle of the night or teaching them to walk, talk, read, or ride a bike, these are the most cherished times spent with our child. We love to play and interact with our daughter. She loves her story-time, puppet play, outdoor play-time, games, buggy-rides, and all of the fun, play, and learning that she has with me at home with her. Brooke is also learning Sign Language for fun and we practice daily with her and she is very good at it! I am so lucky to be at home with her, seeing and experiencing all of the “special events and accomplishments” in her life. Not having our child in day-care is most important to us as a family. Our children will always know how much they are loved. We will provide them with unconditional love and support throughout their entire lives. My favorite activities are walking, the outdoors, shopping, reading, scrap booking, and of course being a Mommy! I enjoy our “Mommy and Me” group and classes with Brooke, and we get together with other Moms and children frequently in our community. I enjoy boating and swimming and taking Brooke out for long walks in the clean air and sunshine. We love to visit Grandma and Grandpa where we have such fun and excitement at their home. JAROD Jarod works as a Real Estate Investor, and he is very successful at buying and selling beautiful homes in the area. Jarod is also a Police Officer with a flexible schedule and many days off each month…perfect for meeting the demands of fatherhood. Jarod is the best father, spending a lot of time with Brooke and her activities. Jarod loves being a Daddy! Brooke is always spending quality time with him, he builds her swing-sets for the yard, and a slide, and they go to the park and do many outdoor activities together. Jarod is a gentle, kind, and loving father. He adores Brooke and is a very involved father. He enjoys biking, motocross, camping, reading, computers, landscaping, and gardening. BROOKE Brooke is the love of our lives. She is a wonderful, happy, bright, beautiful little girl with a smile that melts our hearts. Her laughter fills our home! She runs about, dancing and singing to her favorite songs and has a big play-room to share with her brother or sister! She loves music and playing outside with other children and we have frequent “play-dates” with other friends’ children too! She loves animals, story-time, bath-time, or just cuddling with Mommy and Daddy. She is the greatest joy of our lives and we cannot wait to have more children in our home to raise with her. Brooke will be a wonderful big sister. She is sweet and loving and gives the best hugs! The greatest gift a child could have is having siblings to share their life with.
